Vintage student lamp made in Germany from gilded metal and crystal glass from the '60s and' 70s.
Student lamps were extremely popular in the late 1800s and were used by owners and companies. Double arm lamps are harder to find. Like all student lamps, the arms are adjusted up or down, allowing the user to have more light scattered on the table or desk. There is a brass button that secures the arms. The lamp has an iron base covered in brass, which makes it very safe and constant. The brass has an older professionally polished finish that is in excellent condition. The shades, baskets and frame are all in excellent condition. What a beautiful addition to your lighting collection.

This table lamp is extremely elegant and decorative.
The age is difficult to identify, but according to some indications it seems to be from that period. We can only say that it is a very well made and very attractive vintage object.

The most attractive quality of a vintage object is its past. With this understanding, I hope you will enjoy the character and history of the treasure you have chosen. I sell items that catch my eye and strive to get fair and reasonable prices. I also try to describe and photograph objects in a detailed and honest way. Objects show signs of age, such as patina, stains, chips, scratches and cracks. Therefore, use the zoom function to check the photos, read the descriptions and request them before the preview, so that you are most satisfied with the purchase.
We take photos, describe and send the article according to our knowledge and beliefs. Detailed photos provide good information about the status of an object.
However, we cannot rule out color deviations due to different screen settings (monitor calibration).
Since we sell vintage items, they usually have a story - that is, signs of wear.
The description of collectibles and previous antiques is often difficult because the condition is subjective. I make every effort to describe my article. In the true spirit of recycling, you will find that your item will end up packed in a used box whenever possible. I do not apologize for this, because I believe that we should not waste the resources of the earth.
